Ocean Bottle is on a mission to prevent 7 billion plastic bottles in weight from entering the ocean by 2025, enabling individuals to have a global impact on ocean plastic.

Its core product, the world’s most impactful reusable bottle, funds the collection of 11.4 kg of ocean-bound plastic, equivalent to 1000 plastic bottles in weight.

Tech enabled for continuous impact, Ocean Bottle products stop ocean plastic at the largest sources, working with partners to set up long-term infrastructure for plastic collection in coastal communities where plastic pollution is worst. Collectors exchange plastic for money and get access to social resources such as healthcare, education, mental health support and financial security.

Ocean Bottle is a high growth start-up with a team of 40, growing at over 300% YoY and bringing together individuals and businesses all around the world through its products and services. Ocean Bottle is now launching new ventures based off of its impact ledger which offers customers full traceability of the plastic collection that they have enabled. This includes the Ocean Bottle app which has recently launched in app stores, to OceanSubs which enables companies to drive sustainable behaviour and continuously fund plastic collection – with more innovations to come.

Ocean Bottle gives over 15% of its revenue to impact, directly funding plastic collection and developing formal waste management infrastructure. So far, Ocean Bottle has prevented over 8.1 million kgs of plastic from entering the ocean. Every kilogram of plastic collected is recorded and tracked via regulated banking systems, ensuring total transparency of funding.

This is just the start.
